NYMBOIDA CANOE CENTRE

We are pretty lucky here on the North Coast, with a lot of great camping spots and activities on our doorstep. Some 90 minutes north west of Coffs there is a place called the Nymboida Canoe centre. Great camping all along the Gorang Creek. This creek was man made after the power station was setup. The water was that great coming out and in a fast way, some bright spark had an idea to make a kayak course along its waterway.

When we were there they were having some school trilas, these kids were awesome, some as young as 8 were having a go. You can hire a tube and a helmet for a very minimal fee.. i think it cost us $7 each for the weekend. Bloody great value .... We ( my daughter and I ) had a ball with, swimming, camping, had a fire, chilled out and watched the kids in the kayaks...Defiantly need to get back there.
