MARINA WALK

Well today we spent the arv down around our harbour area, walked over muttenbird island where the chicks are starting to call out, saw a few of the older birds flying out to sea for a feed. Long walk over the top to the whale viewing area, saw several pods splashing around and only one whale breached all the way. Quite a few bait schools around, this was evident with the amount of gulls diving in the water, probably after bait like souries,gars, or even whitebait.

Only took a few pics, was great down there as it always is. Sat around on an area called Siberia for a while ( called this because it is situated far from the main area where the trawlers tie up.
