BACK OF WOOPI

Well another day another 4wd adventure. Only 3 cars ended up coming out as it was a sunday morning when it was time to organize a drive-- nothing wrong with that. It was a short 4 km drive on the tar before we headed down onto Limberts trail, down through the green area and up to the top of the banana trail. After a run down this track we headed up Vardys, down Nogra and then up to a favourite hill- Broken trail, boy this has washed out since the rain, hell good !!!......

We decided to head across to a gnarly rocky hill called Cullens. So to get here we played around on such tracks Jeep, which is hell loose with granite type rocks which feel like ball bearings, and getting pretty washed away, Middle Ridge, which has heaps of little side diversions, half way along here we stopped to cool off at several rock pools which you'd never even know they were there.

We ventured up Boyles track, looped around and went down across madmans creek, up 3 hills, which is nice and rocky, and this put us at the bottom @ Cullens. Now this hill is'nt for the faint hearted, rocky , rutty, loose, and with a hell rut on the right side, there is every chance you will slip into it. Every body knows that some days you have heaps of luck, and other days you just can not find the right line- those days just suck !!. Well our mate sando just was having one of those days- tried going left, right, up the rut, in the rut, even kicked the passengers out, but tru to his style ""never say die "" he got to the top unscaved......

Since we had been out for 3 hours we had all had enough, so it was down past the landslide rocks on Andersons Mountain road ( i would luve to see the state forest move these off the road, probably don't even know that they are there, as we had to cut a track around them ), along Plum Pudding, and straight down creek road home- phew !! what a great couple of hours, got to be happy with that!!!!....
